A Man Feeding Off His Emotions

A man feeds off his emotions. That is how he describes it most days. The spiritual food he fed on seems to have run out. He cant seem to get reconnected no matter the method tried, though he knows how, and where to go for the answers. Recent past and fear of being alone guarantees he will be. Those that have sworn they do not EVER burn bridges left him here smoldering to make sure no phoenix can rise. Believing he was an imperative in their lives it seems he was a pawn. He cannot understand how a semi intelligent man could be so wrong so much of the time. How a virtue like holding out hope could dig a hole so deep he cannot climb out. So until he gets answers, finds the sustenance he needs, He will feed off depression, anger, fear. Apathy is not really giving up- He just doesn’t have the steam to move onward-upward, or back to the feedmill.
