Chrome will be the Web browser of Sony's computers

Google just signed an agreement with Sony. Chrome will be the pre-installed web browser on Sony's computer. This is a great news for Chrome which had difficulties to gain market shares. It is now the fourth most used web browser. The distribution varies from one study to another but it seems that IE ranges from 50% to 70%, Firefox from 20% to 40%, Safari from 2% to 5% and Chrome from 1% to 4%. It's a great move for both companies, because they have both a great image on customers. They will benefit from the I-don't-want-Microsoft-in-my-laptop-but-yet-I'm-still-using-Windows-because-I'm used-to-it spirit and increase the notoriety of each other. This might be the first step for Chrome's success. Sony might lead the way for other computer brands. (Note that IE will still be available on all VAIOs, there will be 2 web browsers)
