Four Estonian in the cycling World Championship
The Estonian Cyclists Union is going to compete next month in the UCI (Union Cycliste International) Road World Championship 2010 with a team up to four people.The competition will take place in Melbourne, Australia, from the 29th of September till the 3rd of October.Together with the Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia, the UCI forms he Triple Crown of Cycling for men at the professional level. In the final race in Melbourne, cyclist are going to compete in a 15,9 kilometers route, with eleven laps and two steep climbs will a small uphill at the end.Tanel Kangert and Grete Treier are two very strong candidates, as Rene Mandri, Kalle Kriit and Rein Taaramäe.
