Paet “Estonian Will Join OECD in Autumn”

“We hope to sign the joining agreement with the OECD this spring and most likely our accession will take place officially already in autumn”; these are the words that the Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Urmas Paet used while referring to the Parliament about the progresses made by the country on the perspective of an entrance in the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development.“The accession will take officially place already in autumn”, said Paet explaining how the work that has lasted for years is about to bear fruits.The Minister of Foreign Affairs clarified also that the country did not do all the work to join OECD from the backdoor since “By now we have moved on the OECD roadmap for nearly three years.
