Euro in Lithuania by 2014?

The potential Lithuanian entrance in the Eurozone by 2014 is confirmed without concerned obstacles. As stated by the Lithuanian Government and its Finance Minister, Lithuania should be capable of adopting the Euro since the country effectively manage to cope with the worsening of the national economy started back in 2009.Also, provided solutions to the financial crisis after the single European currency would see its adoption within the Lithuanian borders are nicely drawn and in this sense the Government started to implement a number of structural reforms which should give the necessary results so that the adoption of euro should not be hampered by interest rates of loans, said the Prime Minister Andrius Kubilius.Although,  2011 was firstly the expected year of euro adoption – something that now everyone do not believe in anymore since it is clear how Lithuania will not be able to reduce its budget enough to meet the requited criteria by the end of this year.Related posts:Estonia and Lithuania – two ...
