Google’s Street View Heads to the Mountains of Vancouver

Remember Google’s Street View Trike?   Well it seems that Google, now looking to offer “slope side” views of several winter Olympic events in Vancouver, has developed a “snowmobile decked out with cameras to capture slope-level imagery of several runs on the Whistler Blackcomb Mountains”.   Google is compiling views of Vancouver and the 2010 Olympic games obtained via its Street View Snowmobile and Street View Trike on a new website by which users can experience the Olympics in a novel and exciting way.   Check out the video below.
