Estonians Prefer Kanal 2 – Russians PBK
According to a study realized by Emor, the favorite TV channel in Estonia during the first month of 2010 was Kanal 2, followed by ETV and TV 3.As expectable the numbers differ between Estonian and non-Estonian population since the three main places are then covered by Russian speaking channels. Getting into details, Estonians watched Kanal 2 (27.4% of the total TV watching time), ETV (25.6%) and TV3 (19.6%) while non Estonians preferred mostly PBK (28.1%), RTR Planeta Baltic (12.3%) and 3+ (7.5%).Both ETV and Kanal 2 improved their results from December with the first one achieving a +1.6 per cent and Kanal 2 a 0.3%.The study realized by Emor also showed how the differences in the population exist also on the mere use of the television since Estonians spent in front of their TV screens a daily average of 4 hours and 29 minutes while non Estonians did it for 5 hours and 12 minutes a day.Related posts:Euro: Do Estonians Still Love It?Number of Estonians in Tallinn dropped under half of its inhabitantsMore than ...
