Tallinn Landfill is starting to manufacture waste fuel

Tallinna Postimees mediates that in less then two weeks AS Tallinn Ladfill in cooperation with Veolia waste company will start manufacturing waste fuel. Their competitor Ragn-Sells is planning to do the same after an year, but twice as much.The manager of Tallinn Landfill, Allan Pohlak, confirmed that the starting of waste fuel manufacturing on the 16th of February will not raise the price of garbage collecting in Tallinn. On the contrary- if the amounts increase then the prices might even go down.The prices will not raise also because of the amount of wastes in Estonia’s landfills decreased to more than a quarter. „ We do not work on the principle that the more commodity, the lower the price,“ said Pohlak.Pohlak said that on the 16th of February all appliances will be working and the manufacturing will start bot the first loads of fuel will be available in March.
