Estonian Cricket Association Wins Prestigious Award from ICC

The Estonian Cricket Association (ECA) has won the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) award for the best European Promotion and Marketing Programme of cricket.Every year the ICC holds a competition for the Pepsi ICC Development Programme Awards, for seven different categories – Lifetime Service Award, Volunteer of the Year, Best Overall Cricket Development, Best Women’s Cricket Initiative, Best Junior Cricket Initiative, Best Spirit of Cricket Initiative, Best Cricket Promotion and Marketing, Photo of the Year.Each regional winner goes through to the next round of the competition for the overall global winner of the awards and $2,000 of equipment.This year’s winning photo of the year showing Leinster Province Under 13 players celebrate the match-winning run out, of West Glamorgan’s opening batsman, in the U13 Welsh District Championships.
