Resident Evil 5 distributed 4 million copies on launch date

Capcom has announced that 4 million copies of Resident Evil 5, launched last Friday (March 13th) were distributed to stores worldwide. The number seems to match the number of downloads that the demo version of the game reached on the XBox Live and PlayStation Store. Now it remains to be seen whether all those copies will be indeed sold as fast as other games have.
